Into the Wild – Product Update
I’m not sure any developer (or creative person for that matter) is ever fully “ready” to showcase their work; putting it out there for people to consume. There are always feelings of wanting to add more to this or make adjustments to that before anyone sees your work. At some point however, you have to release it into the wild. If not, it will never be of use to others or evolve past your own narrow vision.
With RelicRecord, we have reached a point where it is time to get the product into the hands of some of our fans and followers – that’s you! We need to see what you really love about the product; and perhaps, find out what needs to be improved upon. While the site doesn’t do everything we imagine it doing right now, the basics are there and we are really interested to see what people have to say.

In case you have missed our emails, blog articles or social media posts, we are releasing a preview version of the product in short order. We want you to try it, beat it up, and tell us what you think about it.
Want to be the first to try it out?
Of course you do! Send me or Will an email, or better yet, sign up for our newsletter to get early access. Help us craft a product that YOU would want to use!
As I previously mentioned, the first iteration of RelicRecord will just cover the basics; enough to get your feet wet. In this preview version, you will be able to:
- Add detailed information about items and attach photos.
- Group items into different collections.
- Edit those items and collections.
- Import Excel spreadsheets into your account.
While Will and I have our own ideas of what needs to be added; to be honest, we are tired of talking with each other. At this point, we are way more interested in what you think about what we’ve put together.
So be on the lookout for your invitation to take RelicRecord for a spin. Your help will not go unnoticed!
